Nefarious McDangersen Enterprises is located in the Sierra Foothills region of Northern California, centrally located about an hour away from Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and the Nevada border. We work on all Personal Electric Vehicles such as e-bikes, scooters, EUCs and Onewheels, but specialize in VESCs - one-wheeled electric balance boards built around Vedder's Electronic Speed Controller.
Founder Kevin Pedersen had been an avid mountain biker, skier and snowboarder since an early age, long before he got his first Onewheel XR in 2021. After a friend let him borrow their Onewheel Pint, he immediately fell in love with the ability to cross-train for snowboarding when there was no snow on the ground, and had to get a Onewheel of his own.
After practicing the skills to ride Onewheels on singletrack mountain bike trails, Kevin realized that this sport combined his love of mountain biking with his love of snowboarding, but he was never satisfied with riding other peoples' builds. Throughout his life, he has built his own vehicles, starting with mountain bikes when he was ten years old, moving on to cars, and a stint as an aerospace engineer building satellites for NASA, before he became a STEAM (Science, Technology, Art, Engineering and Mathematics) teacher and founded his own tech consulting company.
Kevin's goal in life is to spread the stoke. He loves to get his builds dialed, but more than anything else, he loves to get out and enjoy a good ride with friends.
